Steph West is a 2028 J.D. candidate at Ohio Northern University Law School. She will sit for the bar in 2028. Upon licensing, she plans to practice in the fields of sports and entertainment. She plans to perform special case and/or pro bono work for special victims in civil and criminal cases.

Sports

West has been part of the sports world her whole life, first as an athlete then a coach, and finally covering high school, college, and pro sports as a reporter. She was voted Best Sports Reporter among other awards for her coverage of the NHL and Columbus Blue Jackets. She was also a certified ACE personal trainer and an advocate for women’s sports, pushing for more opportunities across middle and high school sports.
Entertainment

West is a Silver Telly Award recipient whose short film “Olsky” is an Emmy-nominated (regional) short film. She’s an alum of the New York Film Academy and Sundance Collab courses. West began her career starring in front of the camera as a model and actress. She also worked in broadcast doing live spots for Fox Sports Ohio. She’s a producer, writer, and director who owns and operates 11/1 Productions.
Special Victims

West has a deep passion for helping special victims and seeking justice for those women and children who have not been able to successfully to do so for themselves. She has an affinity for single parents and their struggles at the intersections of employment, finances, sexual crimes, transportation, and housing. She understands the special needs of this marginalized and vulnerable population.
